Depression And Paranoia

By Justin Meyer You know the feeling. You are talking to someone, and then a few minutes later they go into a meeting. The door closes. Are they talking about you? What are they saying? What did you do wrong this time? These are feelings that we all suffer, but it seems even worse when you are depressed. Anxiety is a very real feeling, and if you think that there are problems in your life, that will only make things worse. The way to counter these feelings is to distract yourself during these meetings. Thats the first step, at least. Make sure that if these meetings are going to distract you, that you have some other task, preferably away from the site, so you can deal with this through ignorance. The other thing to do is to start focusing on the positives of your performance. By doing that, instead of looking at the negative side of things that you do, it will allow you to view conversations about you as a positive. It will also leave you worrying less because you will not feel in danger every time people are talking. Finally, if all else fails, address your issues. Dismiss them. Do a quick review of your own and make sure that you tilt the scales to come out positive. At that point, you will start to feel better about the meetings around you. What Are Some Easy Italian Recipes?

By Andrew Krause A lot of the cuisine of Italy can be intimidating, with multiple techniques used to produce a dish, expensive ingredients and complex construction. Many new cooks take a look at some of the more classic "gourmet" Italian recipes and decide such cooking is better left to Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill. This is a mistake, as there are plenty of easy Italian recipes around. In every ethnic cuisine, the basic cooking is simple. Remember that for most of human history, cooking tools were very simple and the availability of complex cooking tools was unknown. There was only heat, a simple pan or two and some basic ingredients. Take, for example, Shrimp Scampi, one of the most popular Italian restaurant dishes. Done right, it is a marvel of balance, with the richness of butter and the taste of garlic, green onions and white wine. Actually, it's a very, very simple dish! You just saut the garlic and onions in olive oil, add the wine, then the butter, then the shrimp. It's not hard at all, and the results are fantastic. Lasagna, believe it or not, is another amazingly simple dish. The layers can look intimidating in the finished product, but it's basically just a matter of making simple meat and cheese mixtures, then ladling them into a dish in layers separated by noodles. The great thing about lasagna is that it's fairly foolproof. Get your layers out of order? Forget to put the cheese in one layer? It really won't matter all that much once everything's baked together. And, for dessert, don't forget the cannoli (hey, it was good enough for "The Godfather," right?) You can buy cannoli shells at most bakeries, which removes what for most people is the tough part. The filling is simply a mixture of cheeses and flavorings which is then piped into the shells and decorated. You won't believe how simple it can be! There are hundreds of easy Italian recipes out there. All you have to do is get cooking. Marriage Musts - Owning Your Problems

By Brandi Simon My husband cheated on me multiple times. It's really easy to bet bogged down in thinking that because of his terrible actions that all the problems in the marriage are his fault. However; when faced with this betrayal it's very important to own your own responsibilities for the problems in the marriage. If you don't then you are destined to fail. I'm going to tell you unequivocally that unless you mend the issues in your marriage your husband is more susceptible to another affair and dare I say it, so are you! Repairing the issues in your marriage, or any relationship for that matter, starts with YOU. You can not control what another person thinks, feels, or does, however; you can control those thoughts, feelings, and actions of your own. You probably will not be able to move past the affair until you begin to resolve your other marital issues. When you finally understand that the issues in your marriage are what caused your spouse to stray you will be able to begin working on fixing the areas in your marriage that need to be repaired. As you repair those areas you will begin to move past the affair because you will have some security in knowing that the areas that made it easy for your spouse to stray are now repaired and those are no longer an issue. Most problem areas will be about one of the basic needs. This is where you should concentrate your efforts. You can do this even without the participation of you wayward spouse. Make a game out of finding out what your spouse's most important needs are and meeting those needs. I'm quite certain that after a couple of weeks of having his needs met that your spouse will notice the difference in you and the changes that you are making. They will become more open to actually working on the marriage with you. It is possible to keep your marriage even with only one person doing the work. What To Say To Meet Women Anywhere!

By Ross Jeffries You see, knowing what to SAY to a woman is utterly and totally dependent on WHAT YOU CAN OBSERVE ABOUT THAT WOMAN. It's not so much a matter of what to say. No, the real secret of "opening" women is, knowing what to observe, knowing what to notice, and even KNOWING WHAT TO GET CURIOUS ABOUT. Does that make sense? Also, the approach to opening her might differ a bit if she is at a coffee house, quietly studying, as opposed to in a loud restaurant or party, right? Why? Because the CONTEXT she is in and what you NOTICE about her is going to be different. If she's studying, and you notice that she's having a hard time; thinking really hard, talking to herself outloud or just thinking "OUTLOUD" in her head, it would NOT make sense to walkup and ask her opinion about the great band that is playing or where she bought her cool bicycle. So, I will say it again. The most important thing, first and foremost, is NOT what you say, but the context she is in, and what you can observe about her and the setting she is in. Now, many guys ask me about compliments. Should I give them?Is it a good way to first "open up" talking to a woman? If so,what should I compliment? Ok. I'll repeat: it depends on the context, where she is,what she is doing, and what you NOTICE and can OBSERVE. Look: whether it is opening her by using a compliment, or asking her a question about something, or making a comment about something she's doing or something going on in the environment,I will ask myself the same question, "What can I notice about this person that I can use to make a connection?" Now, let's say I notice something about her that I DO find worth complimenting. My rules for complimenting are as follows: 1. NO sexual content in the compliments. That means I don't compliment on her great boobs, great legs, great butt, etc. No woman (no half-way SANE woman) wants a drooling lecher. 2. All compliments to be delivered with good eye contact (infact, ANY openers are delivered this way) with a smile on my face AND in my eyes ( I sort of make them twinkle a bit) and deliverd with a MATTER of fact voice tone. This means I don't over do it with my tone of voice. The compliment is delivered, matter of fact, with no concern on my part whether she will accept it, reject it or anything in between. It is NOT about her accepting or rejecting what I say. It is ONLY about me wanting to say what I have to say, and any response she has is OK WITH ME. Really, this is about the sub-text. This means, you see, that there is the surface message, the actual words I say. Those can be important. But the sub-text is the unspoken or implied message I am delivering about me and how I walk through the world; that take full responsibility for how I feel about myself, my situation, the events and circumstances in my life, and I don't need anyone to approve or validate my message. Now, trust me. When you come from THAT place, and add in a touch of humor.... Almost Anything You Say Will Get A Good Response! Notice something else. This is a great but different KIND of confidence. It's not the kind of confidence that say, loudly, "I KNOW I AM GOING TO GET WHAT I WANT". It's more of a, "If I get what I want, that's fine and good, and if not, that's ok too. I'm having fun regardless". Ok. Back to compliments then. I prefer to compliment women on the following things: 1. How they carry themselves or how they move. I enjoy awoman who moves beautifully and/or who has great posture. I will tell them so, as follows, "I just wanted to tell....I think you have perfect.......posture. You just carry yourself beautifully." Notice the ....... This indicates a pause in your speaking. I don't run everythingtogetherintoonesentencelikethis. No. I take....my....time. I pause, right before I tell them what I am going to tell them, so they will get curious about what I am going to say, and therefore be more receptive. The pauses in the music are as much a part of the music as the notes, to use a metaphor. 2. How they are dressed. I like to compliment on style. So I will say, "I just wanted to tell you...I admire women with class and style...so I had to say "hi". I'm YOUR NAME HERE." Note that this is what I call an IMPLIED compliment. I didn't' directly tell her I think SHE has class and style. I said I admire women with class and style, so I had to say "hi".That IMPLIES that I think she has class and style. Why is this important? Well, by implying the compliment, she has to use her imagination to interpret what you meant. Imagination is an ACTIVE process, and so she doesn't resist the message, as she herself has to take an active hand in creating it! Implied compliments are very useful in slipping past any resistance or skepticism to your message! 3. I will compliment on their "energy". I know this is a New Age, California kind of thing, but women are into "energy" or "vibes". It doesn't matter if you believe in it or not-although I hope one day you will. The important thing is, MOST women believe in it. So if I notice a woman has a calm, radiant, happy demeanor, I will say, "I just wanted to tell you.....I think you have..a beautiful....energy about you, and it just made me have to say "hi". I'm YOUR NAME HERE". Ok. Another major way to meet women is to say something funny; make an observation or comment that is humorous, based on something you can observe. Now, again, I can't give you a "one line fits all" example, because again, it's based on what you are observing in the actual situation. So you will have to observe her, asking, "What can I notice that I can use to make a connection?". Next, ask yourself, "How can I phrase that in a clever, funny way that gets attention and makes her laugh?" This takes some practice. But you can get good at it. Now, again, I hesitate to give word for word examples, because it depends on what you observe. Here Are Some Approaches I Do NOT Recommend: 1. Asking her the time, or for directions. It's trite, lame, and then where do you go from there? If you are terribly shy and can't even talk to women, ok, you can start here. But learn to do something else quickly. 2. Being insulting or in any way rude. I don't care what you might have heard. Insulting a woman is stupid. Any woman with choice is just going to move on. If she's kind, she won't insult you back. If she isn't, she just might give a verbal tongue lashing, and that's not the kind of tongue action you want! 3. Invading her space when I meet her. Once I make my initial opening, tell her my name, shake her hand; I then actually take a step back, away from her, to give her back her space. Women tell me that, to them, it demonstrates respect. It also indicates that, while I am strong enough to come up and meet them, I am also concerned with their safety, and they like that combination. And finally, it indicates a challenge: just because she gave me a good initial response to my opener, doesn't mean she has me! It establishes a challenge, right away. http://speedseductions.blogspot.com/ Peace and piece, Ross Jeffries Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Ross_Jeffries http://EzineArticles.com/?What-To-Say-To-Meet-Women-Anywhere!&id=538621 bad credit motorclcye loan

Anniversary Gifts - Thirty-Eighth Anniversary

By Michael Russell Whoever came up with the anniversary gift ideas for this anniversary must have been either tortured by his wife or held captive by men from Mars for six months with nothing but a burnt out TV and a half empty bag of Lays potato chips to keep them company. If you thought by now things would get easy when it came to finding an anniversary gift, especially for one so late in your life, you obviously have been living on a different planet than the one most of civilization here occupies. But don't worry. In spite of the obstacles ahead, we're going to give you at least a few ideas for this special occasion. If you're wondering why this year is going to be such a challenge, that's because the anniversary gifts for this year are beryl and tourmaline. If you're sitting there scratching your head wondering what these things are, let alone what could possibly be made out of them, let's consult with our trusty friend, the dictionary. Beryl, according to the dictionary, is "a mineral, beryllium aluminum silicate, Be3Al2Si6O18, usually green, but also blue, rose, white and golden and both opaque and transparent, the latter variety including the gems emerald and aquamarine: the principal ore of beryllium". Oh, okay. It's a rock. A very expensive one if the name emerald means what I think it means. Now, let's look at tourmaline. According to the dictionary, tourmaline is "A complex crystalline silicate containing aluminum, boron and other elements, used in electronic instrumentation and, especially in its green, clear and blue varieties, as a gemstone". Great, we have a couple of very expensive rocks we can get for this year's festivities. The question that remains is simply, what is made out of this stuff? For the answer to that, you can go to a jeweler who will probably give you a lot of double talk, or you can just keep reading. Beryl gemstones are actually not all that hard to find. The most popular of these is most likely morganite, which has kind of a pink color to it. If you spot one of these gems, no pun intended, you can't miss 'em. They are absolutely breathtaking and look every bit as expensive as they are. You can get just about anything made from beryl, including rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and pendants. The prices, depending on the size of the stone, range anywhere from under $100 (you need a magnifying glass to see it) to thousands of dollars (requiring a truck and an armed guard to bring it home). If you're expecting tourmaline to be any cheaper, you have a long wait. Tourmaline is also available in the usual forms and the price range is also about the same. The best advice I can give is this. You don't want to buy a gift where you end up having to mortgage your home. But after all, this is your thirty-eighth anniversary and your spouse deserves an anniversary gift for all the years that he or she has put into this marriage. Well, don't worry about going wrong with anything here. Gems are called gems for a reason. And after all, it's only money. Michael Russell

Depression

By David McEvoy Depression is a broad term commonly used to describe a set of symptoms that can range from mild, requiring little or no treatment, to symptoms severe enough to interfere with a person's life on a daily basis and sometimes to the extent that life in itself can become intolerable. According to the Office for National Statistics Psychiatric Morbidity Report 2001, a quarter of all adults living in the UK will experience some kind of mental health problem during the course of any one year. Depression is a mental health problem that can affect any one of us at any time of our lives. It is indiscriminate of age, gender, culture and background. The Patient UK website states that 2 out of 3 adults will experience an episode of depression at some point and the Mental Health Foundation quote that that 10% of children up to the age of 15 have a mental health disorder. So how do we know if we are suffering from depression? Milder symptoms of depression include short bouts of low moods, lethargy, sadness and feeling a bit fed up and out of sorts, and these will often disappear after a few days or so. However, clinical depression is more serious in that it isn't possible to just "snap out of it" and symptoms can persist for weeks, months and even years without proper help. Some symptoms of depression Feeling tired and lethargic for most of the time
Persistent low moods and sadness, a feeling of despondency
Sleep disturbances, either inability to sleep or sleeping too much
A pessimistic outlook on life
Feeling anxious and nervous
Feelings of worthlessness or guilt
Frightening and irrational thoughts
Loss of pleasure in activities and lack of interest in sex
Avoidance of social contact and social situations
Loss of appetite or an increased appetite and associated weight loss or weight gain
Emotional outbursts for no apparent reason
Irritability Each and every one of us can experience one or more of these symptoms at times without being depressed, however, if symptoms persist for more than a couple of weeks or they interrupt your ability to function on a daily basis then the chances are you might be suffering from depression. Who suffers from depression? Life changing events can sometimes precipitate a period of depression including having a baby, death of a loved one, the breakdown of a relationship, money worries and debt, problems at work, physical illness and disability. Some groups of people are more at risk of a depressive illness than others and these include the long term sick and unemployed, the homeless, single parents, those who are in care or institutions, those with a past history of depressive illnesses themselves or in their family, and those battling with alcohol or substance abuse problems. Chemical imbalances, genetics and physiological factors can play a role in some types of depressive disorders. Seasonal changes involving the long dark winter days and nights can bring on an episode of depression, and for others; there is no apparent or identifiable reason at all. According to research statistics, women are more likely than men to seek help for a mental health problem or depression however, men are more likely to commit suicide as a result of being depressed. Common types of depression Clinical Depression can be described as a depression that is severe enough to require the help and intervention of a health care professional. It is sometimes referred to as unipolar depression. Bi-polar or manic depression manifests itself in extreme mood swings alternating between episodes of intense euphoria and despair with relatively stable periods in between. The duration of the episodes and the gaps between them vary from person to person. During a high or manic period, the bipolar sufferer can feel euphoric, is excitable, needs little sleep and can be highly creative. The lows on the other hand can be devastatingly difficult with a loss of interest in everything, feelings of despair, guilt and worthlessness and even suicidal tendencies. According to the Royal College of Psychiatrists leaflet on depression, 1 in 10 people suffer from Bipolar. Post Natal Depression can occur after giving birth. The symptoms are similar to those of common depression and can range from a very mild and normal period of "baby blues" lasting a few days to a severe type of depression that requires clinical intervention. Seasonal Affective Disorder or SAD is a type of depression occurring during the winter months, and is thought to be linked to a lack of sunlight so in addition to the usual treatment for depression, light-therapy can be helpful. It is not known why some people suffer from depression and not others and although some people appear more prone to episodes of depression, there is no one cause of depression and many variations in the way a depressive disorder can presents itself. The severity of the symptoms and the impact that depression can have on an individual's life varies from person to person but with a proper diagnosis, the appropriate help can be made available. Depression is treatable. Depression is a serious condition that can strike anyone at anytime. Building A Winter Greenhouse

By Amanda Bregman If your passion for gardening eats most of your available time, then it is advisable that you set up a greenhouse which will keep all of your treasured possessions. The months of the winter time is mostly the hate season of a gardener like you. It is during these winter months when the flowers that you've painstakingly grown will be covered with ice and will be set to death by the cold breeze. You feel really flabbergasted by such scenario. However, building a greenhouse will give you peace of mind. If your garden space is mostly bare to the top, your most perfect resort is the setting up of a greenhouse. A winter greenhouse will be your solitude in times like these. Now with a greenhouse, it is as if you are enjoying a long duration of springtime. People who've got the deep passion for gardening treats the activity as some sort of finding tranquility during the very turbulent moments of their lives. The greenhouse seems to shun away the worries from them. You may have the same feeling of course. Building a greenhouse in your backyard means setting up a comfortable place that will shield you and your beloved plants from the harsh and cold winter months. Any moment that you step into your haven, you will feel rejuvenated as if you are transcended into a realm filled with serenity and pleasure. Mind you, the scent of fresh flowers can do this for you. The Selection to be Made If you are thinking of creating the greenhouse in your backyard space, you've got a lot of options to look into. There are endless choices that will face you. A small yet cozy winter greenhouse may occupy a space that is supplied with the most favorable sunlight. You can design the size and shape of your winter greenhouse as well. But if you think that your winter greenhouse will only be called for to serve its purpose on these said months, then you might as well settle for a portable greenhouse. This can thus be set up only on the winter months and kept right after another season comes in. The Use of the Greenhouse In a greenhouse, almost any plant can be grown provided that the plants are accustomed to the climate in your place. Gardeners like you may prefer to grow about a large number of fruits, flowers, and vegetables. It is really dependent on your own choice. You may opt to move these plants outside when the weather becomes warm enough. This motion may invite the agents of pollination. But during winter, you may use the artificial pollinations. Winter greenhouse needs particular attention especially in the areas of controlling the humidity, heat, light, diseases, and pests inside the place. The Material to Employ The greenhouse plastic films are usually used by many because the design of these materials is able to withstand the harsh penetration of the ultraviolet rays from the sun, the wind, and the chilly temperature of the winter months. The most commonly utilized plastic film is the six millimeter four year film which serves its purpose well since it is thick, quite heavy, and may last up to four years or more. There is also another type the "over wintering" plastic film which is best to use during winter. As you see, gardening can be a lot of fun if you only know the precautions that you must take. Winter greenhouse can save you from a lot of troubles. Just be sure that you employ the proper materials and steps in nurturing your plants. Shake It Up

By D. Marie Giolitto Here's a healthful breakfast idea for busy, workaholic types: the fruit and yogurt smoothie. It's the ideal breakfast for people like you and me who don't have time for elaborate morning rituals. Not only is a yogurt fruit shake delicious and nutritious, but it affords maximum convenience and diet control! Reasons Why Breakfast Shakes Rock You decide what goes in. Allergic to bananas? Try peaches in your smoothie instead. Dont like nuts? Leave them out. Its totally up to you, what you add to your smoothie each morning. Mix up a Berry Blast one day and Very Vanilla the next. Smoothies are totally versatile and delicious! Theyre so easy to make. It doesnt take a culinary master to throw a little of this or that in a blender with ice, give it a whirl on high speed and pour into your receptacle of choice. Stock up each week with a smorgasbord of smoothie ingredients and mix and match each day. Its a meal in a glass. What could be better than a breakfast thats both nutritionally-optimized and can be ingested without chewing? This is the perfect food as far as I can see. Slurp one down just before that big meeting! Drink your meal while sitting in traffic. Brilliant! Smoothies are easily transportable. Take one to work, carry one along in your gym backpack... your smoothie can go wherever you go, in a handy plastic container with a snap-on lid. Keep it cool in your take-along cold pack and enjoy a refreshing thirst quencher and energy booster any time of day. Make it the night before. If youve got a full day scheduled, blend up your smoothie the night before, store it away in the fridge, and then in the morning you can just grab and go. Smoothies are for stress-free living! Smoothie Ingredients: the Perfect Blend When it comes to ingredients, there's really no set recipe to follow. It's your smoothie and you can make it however you like. Following is a list of foods that you may or may not include when dreaming up your own unique smoothie creation. 1. Yogurt. Just the right consistency to add body and texture to your shake. The tart flavor of yogurt contrasts nicely with fruit and natural sweeteners. A good source of protein for brain power, plus calcium to keep bones and teeth healthy. Active acidophilus cultures in yogurt help to maintain the bacterial balance of the stomach and intestinal tract. 2. Soymilk. The benefits of soy protein are vast! Used to curb hormone fluctuations in menopausal women, soymilk contains natural estrogenic plant derivatives that can reduce your risk of cancer. Calcium and B-vitamin rich soymilk also makes for healthier bones and improved nervous system function. Pour some into your morning smoothie as a healthy alternative to cow's milk. 3. Whole, rolled oats. Add fiber plus heart protection to your diet. Whole oats are packed with B vitamins and notorious for keeping cholesterol down. Remove artery sludge and reduce the risk of heart attack with a half-cup of oats a day. Cleverly hidden in your tasty breakfast shake, you barely even notice they're there. 4. Nuts or seeds. A source of protein and Omega-3 fatty acids needed for glandular and cellular function, nuts and seeds are another ingredient you can toss in by the handful and get instant health benefits. Try any combination of peanuts, walnuts, filberts, pecans, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds or milled flaxseeds for added fiber plus a bold, nutty flavor. 5. Fresh fruit. Start your day right with a little jolt of seratonin from natural fruit sugar. Blueberries are known for their anti-carcinogenic properties. Or, try any of the other vitamin-packed berry varieties such as strawberries, raspberries or blackberries. Bananas, peaches and pineapples make great shake flavors as well. 6. Raw honey. Just a touch of honey in your smoothie adds that sweetness to counter the taste of nuts and oats. Known for its amazing healing properties, honey is the healthy man's sugar and makes for excellent flavor in your morning protein drink. Instead of skipping breakfast tomorrow like you usually do, why not shake things up with a fantastic breakfast shake that takes less than ten minutes to make! Itll go down smooth and easy, and set the tone for an energy-filled and productive day. Copyright 2005 Dina Giolitto. All rights reserved. Liked this article? Weight Loss with Phentermine

By David Turner Losing weight is hard but living with weight is even harder My friend john is an outstanding mimic but is embarrassed to expose his talent because he is overweight. Millions of people around the world are addicted to obesity; the worst part is that children and adolescents are also under its grasp. Reluctance towards fitness and fast life style is a vital factor for weight gain. Such fast life provokes dependency on junk food so much so that we have forgotten the importance of fresh food; in fact nutritious diet has become a matter of opportunity. Whats going wrong? What is the reason for such rise in obesity in the recent years? We eat half the amount of food that people in early 50s used to eat but we surpass them drastically when it comes to weight gain. The answer is straightforward During the past few decades, there has been a phenomenal change in our lifestyle; to be precise we live in a remote control world where the importance of physical effort has literally vanished. Nowadays we spend more time in front of computers, we use cars where before we used our feet or bicycles, and we use lifts and escalators instead of stairs. We have become less active. So, although we consume fewer calories now than a few years ago, we also burn up far fewer calories than before. Weight gain is the difference between the calories we consume and the calories we lose. Or, put more simply, food versus exercise. Yes, we may not seem to eat very much, but if we are couch potatoes we still end up piling on the weight.
A blessing called Phentermine: Phentermine is a boon for people seeking fast weight loss; it works by stimulating the hypothalamus gland and affecting certain neurotransmitters to decrease appetite. The hypothalamus is the region of the brain that controls the autonomic nervous system, regulating sleep cycles, body temperature, appetite, etc. Phentermine is available in tablets, capsule and resin capsules. Phentermine is an appetite suppressant; it should be taken empty stomach, once daily, before breakfast. Taking Phentermine late in the day can disrupt your sleeping hours. Phentermine Doses:
Oral dosage form (Capsules) - 15 to 37.5 mg once per day before breakfast or 1-2 hours after breakfast.
Oral dosage form (Tablets) - 15 to 37.5 mg once per day before breakfast or 1-2 hours after breakfast. Instead of taking it once a day, your doctor may tell you to take 15 to 37.5 mg in divided doses one-half hour before meals.
Oral resin dosage form (Capsules) - 15 to 30 mg once per day before breakfast Phentermine side effects :
Prescription drug like Phentermine can lead to unwanted side effects such as chest pain, swelling of legs, trouble in breathing and exercise and fainting. Some other familiar adverse effects of Phentermine include Depression Drowsiness, Increased blood pressure, Irritability, Nervousness, Sense of well-being, Tiredness, Blurred vision, Change in sexual desire, Clumsiness, Confusion, Diarrhea, and Dizziness. , Dry mouth, Headache, Irregular heartbeat, Nausea or vomiting, Psychosis, Skin rash or itching, Stomach pain, Tiredness and Unpleasant taste.
